SeNova^® is a unique, sensor-based product, which requires only a tiny drop of blood (600 nanoliters) to deliver accurate results in 10 seconds. The strip is put into the instrument and brought to the blood drop. There is no hanging drop of blood needed, and no smearing against the strip. Once the strip comes in contact with the drop of blood, it wicks only as much as it needs automatically through a patented capillary gap action. After testing, the test strip can be ejected easily by pushing a button, avoiding the necessity to come in contact with the strip after it has been contaminated.
